| What I like best about D.J. - I came home today and everyone except Diana was in the front hall. John hugged me while Aislinn was hugging me, and D.J. just had to join in the hug. He stands on his hind legs and drapes his front paws over your arm to support himself, and fully expects you to put your arms around him, too. If you don't, he makes a low, whining sound. So of course, we invite him into the hug. Then James hugged me, and the dog got into that hug. Then, as we were enjoying this, all four of us hugged, and D.J. decided that he wanted to be right in the middle, so he draped his paws over John's arms, and stood in the middle of our family group hug, licking Aislinn's chin [her chin was the only one he could reach], and he looked beseechingly at us, so one by one we lowered our heads so that he could give us kisses as well.
I didn't know that dogs could be this affectionate! Or this goofy! I love him so much!
